FAQ
What are Credits and How do they work?
- Credits – Currency for Server Hosting. They are spent on an hourly basis based on the monthly price. Hourly Rate = Listed Price / 720
- Credits will be instantly deducted the first hour upon creation of the server. Credits will then reduce hourly for as long as the server is provisioned.
- Credits will not be refunded if you delete your server within the first hour of creation.
- Upgrading a server will instantly subtract credits to the new full hourly rate. There is no prorate. Credits will then continue to reduce hourly at the new rate.
- Downgrading a server will not subtract any credits but will reduce the hourly rate.
- When an account runs out of credits and a server cannot subtract any more at the next tick, the server will automatically be suspended.
- Servers will automatically be suspended once an account runs out of credits for the server’s next tick.

- Navigate to your dashboard by visiting panel.questcrafts.com
- Click on the server you wish to restore from file
- Once the dashboard opens, select the “Files” header

- This will extract all files and directories from the compressed backup file. Any file in the server directory with the same name will be overwritten. Any file or directory missing from the server directory will be added. Files and directories that do not share a name with those from the backup will not be touched.
- For clarification, if you have added any mods or files since the backup, these new mods will not be touched unless they share the same name as a file in the backup. If the reason for a backup is to correct a corrupt mod or other issue, it may be best to delete the content of the server or use the Reinstall Server option under the “Settings” tab before restoring and unarchiving the backup file.
